Position Overview

The Manager of Credentialing and Professional Education plays a critical operational role in supporting AACD’s Accreditation, education, and professional development programs. This position is responsible for the day-to-day coordination and execution of credentialing processes and educational offerings, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and a high-quality member experience.

This role is ideal for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who enjoys working with multiple stakeholders and supporting mission-driven programs.

Key Responsibilities

Credentialing Operations

• Manage daily operations of AACD’s Accreditation and Fellowship programs
• Serve as primary point of contact for credentialing candidates
• Coordinate exam logistics, case submissions, and examiner review processes
• Maintain accurate records, databases, and reporting

Professional Education Support

• Coordinate online education, mentorship-based programs, and cohort learning experiences
• Support speaker logistics, contracts, learning objectives, and course delivery
• Administer learning platforms, registrations, access, and participant communications
• Ensure compliance with continuing education requirements (PACE, CERP, etc.)

Program & Member Support

• Collaborate with volunteer leaders, committees, and cross-functional staff
• Communicate clearly and professionally with members and participants
• Track participation, outcomes, and operational metrics
• Assist with program evaluation and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Comfort working with databases, learning platforms, and standard office software
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
• Commitment to AACD’s mission and professional values

Experience in associations, education programs, credentialing, healthcare, or nonprofit environments is preferred but not required.
