Job Summary/General Purpose of Job The Meetings Manager has a high level of expertise in the meetings industry which allows them to serve as staff liaison to member committees and project teams. The Meetings Manager is responsible for researching data and keeping abreast of industry trends to establish and recommend meeting-related policies and procedures to staff and members. Often conducts conference and planning orientations for entity leadership and/or educational activities for other association meeting planners. The Meetings Manager is responsible for the strategic planning and execution for all entity conferences and is ultimately accountable for the organization, promotion, and financial control of all entity meetings.
