This position oversees the full lifecycle of SIIM’s membership and engagement operations, ensuring a data-driven approach to growth, retention, and member satisfaction. The role integrates analytics, strategy, and technology to strengthen member value, streamline processes, and enhance participation across programs, events, and volunteers. It also plays a key role in delivering excellent customer service and cultivating strong relationships with members to ensure a positive membership experience. Collaborating across teams, this individual leverages insights to guide decision-making, optimize systems, and deliver meaningful member experiences.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
The following tasks, duties and responsibilities are the essential functions of this job:
Generate reports, dashboards and data analytics to improve understanding of member behavior, engagement, and trends across all member types, programs, events, and services
Develop and implement strategies to drive membership growth, retention, and engagement
Support membership operations, including join/renew process, billing, and member communications
Provide support and exceptional customer service to members, including organizational member point of contacts to foster a strong relationship and promote member satisfaction.
Manage and maintain the membership database (AMS/CRM) to ensure data integrity, consistency, and security
Support marketing and program initiatives with data-driven segmentation, performance analysis, and identification of opportunities to strengthen member value.
Manage data hygiene and governance across all SIIM tech platforms
Has a working understanding of the LMS and other components of SIIMs tech ecosystem and can support in the ongoing development, integration, and support of these systems
Manage meeting registration for all SIIM meetings and programs to include development of the annual meeting registration system
Oversee and coordinate the annual meeting app working group, ensuring collaboration and successful delivery of app features for attendees
Integrate and synchronize any import/export of data into AMS, including but not limited to meeting registration and Continuing Education (CE) data
Serve as staff liaison to the SIIM Member in Training Committee.
Design and execute data management standards, including data entry protocols, system integrations, and quality assurance
Stay current on industry best practices in membership systems, analytics, and artificial intelligence tools.

PREFERRED EDUCTION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in technology related field or a combination of education and experience which demonstrate the necessary skills and abilities for position
Minimum 3-5 years with a) hands-on experience managing technology product/project development supporting an association management system (AMS), preferrable Nimble AMS
Proven skills in identifying member behavior trends through data analytics and data visualization
Proficiency in database world, query writing, and experience with a database migration
Ability to communicate and listen well. Ability to write clear and concise instructions for non-technical users.
Ability to present information in one-on-one and small group situations to members and other employees of the organization.
Requires excellent project management as well as organizational and interpersonal skills to work with a variety of people and on multiple projects.
Must be able to travel nationally (1-3 times/year)
