Position Summary: ASBO International is currently seeking a dynamic Financial Program Coordinator to play a vital role in supporting our financial programs. As the Financial Programs Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the databases associated with our Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting (COE), Meritorious Budget Award (MBA) program, and Pathway to the MBA programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Internal:
Efficiently organize and maintain assigned recognition programs within email folders.
Monitor and facilitate the seamless transfer of applications using the OpenWater platform.
Keep the recognition program database and program statistics up-to-date.
Assist in the day-to-day operations of ASBO's recognition programs, with a primary focus on the Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting (COE) program.
Monitor and assist in updating recognition programs' website pages.
Support the Director in gathering data/materials for distribution to staff, state/province affiliates, and ASBO's Strategic Partners.
Collaborate in identifying program processes that can be streamlined to enhance efficiency and improve the member experience.
Process reviewer invoices.
External:
Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors associated with our awards.
Provide information about the COE program to COE sponsors and other external inquiries as needed.
Required Knowledge & Skills: To excel in this role, you should possess competence in project administration, development, and implementation. Exceptional organizational and communication skills are essential. Critical thinking and the ability to work collaboratively in a team are crucial. The successful applicant will be a self-starter, capable of managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines. Some travel may be required.
