CMI, the association management division of MJH Life Sciences, provides trusted and dynamic management services for associations, foundations, and non-profits in the healthcare field. CMI manages the Association of Community Cancer Centers (ACCC)- the leading education and advocacy organization for the cancer care community and the Oncology State Societies at ACCC- a network of 22 Chapters that provide a state- and regional-level focus into the complexities of cancer delivery.
SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Meetings & Registration Manager, the Registration Coordinator conducts registration activities in support of all CMI client events to the pre- and post-meeting phases, and occasionally onsite. The meetings department is responsible for a very full calendar, averaging 60 meetings per year, so management of multiple concurrent timelines and ability to prioritize are necessary skills.
The Registration Coordinator fills a visible, client-facing role and must demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills for extensive interactions with CMI’s clients, leadership, and members.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Serves as a primary point of contact for all meeting registration-related questions, internally and externally.
Creates registration sites for each meeting, runs registration reports and distributes to key stakeholders weekly, provides updates and information as requested. Creates badge lists and proofs as needed, attendee lists, and monitors registrations regularly for any inconsistencies or errors.
Orders supplies and coordinates sponsorship fulfillment for registration items including badge stock, ribbons, badge holders; determines applicable deadline dates with vendors and communicates information to team; proofs and edits badge format, tickets, text and artwork in collaboration with marketing and the vendor; orders supplies needed on-site and packs registration box.
For ACCC’s National Oncology Conference and Annual Meeting & Cancer Center Business Summit, leads onsite management of registration space and registration staff; develops on-site staff schedule and guidelines, trains staff; ensures the registration space is set-up properly on time; manages staff; enforces registration rules for attendees and exhibitors; answers registration customer service questions.
Compiles post-show registration reports. Makes appropriate database updates, and where required reconciles registration revenue with finance team.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
A bachelor’s degree and at least two years of relevant professional experience. A combination of experience (5+ years) and education may be accepted in lieu of a bachelor’s degree
Experience working in event registration, association meetings, and customer service preferred.
