Responsibilities
Manage EEI’s event and marketing communication platforms (Cvent, Higher Logic) to ensure EEI event branding and messaging is on target with EEI marketing goals. Coordinate with internal stakeholders on the creation of effective event Web pages, mobile apps, and marketing communications using approved EEI digital platforms and best practices.
Work closely with Senior AMS Systems/Registration Manager to ensure effective coordination between the event registration process and the implementation of communications with registrants.
Meet with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, develop targeted content, create timelines, and ensure timely launch and execution of event Web pages and event mobile apps.
Coordinate with EEI designers to ensure EEI design and brand guidelines are followed.
Coordinate with internal and external content contributors, to help draft effective messaging to registrants and implement email campaign efforts through the Cvent and Higher Logic platforms.
Conduct post-event attendee surveys for major EEI meetings and prepare results.
Train employees across the organization to use platforms effectively and efficiently, where applicable. Work across departments to improve data management and customer experience.
Create and manage an internal event and membership technology user group.
Write articles for employee newsletter highlighting best practices and advances in event technologies.
Provide attendee management support as needed at EEI events, including vendor coordination with the on-site registration process and event app implementation.

Serve as main contact with EEI’s external vendors as it pertains to event and marketing technologies.
Qualifications
4+ years’ experience in corporate meeting planning, including 2+ years working with the Cvent event platform and subsequent products required.
Project management and event marketing experience strongly preferred.
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Event Management, Public Relations, Communications or related fields required.
Digital Event Strategist (DES)/Certified Meeting Professional (CMP)/Certified Meeting Manager (CMM)/Cvent Event Management Certification preferred.
Compensation
The salary range for this role begins at $76,900. Starting annual salary will be determined on individual qualifications. EEI also offers an annual performance incentive which is prorated for mid-year start dates. This incentive is typically up to 10% of base salary. Office Protocol/COVID-19
This is a hybrid position which requires the incumbent to reside in the District of Columbia metropolitan area and come into the office a minimum of two days each week. All employees must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or receive a medical or religious exemption.
