The Association of Food Industries, established in 1906, is the trade association for the U.S. food import industry. More than 1,000 companies – U.S. importers and foreign companies shipping to the U.S. – are members of the organization. The North American Olive Oil Association and the National Honey Packers and Dealers Association are sections within AFI and stand-alone associations as well. Other sections include a Nut & Agricultural Products section, a Processed Foods section, U.S. Associate members and Overseas Associate members. The focus of the association is compliance with U.S. regulations. AFI is seeking a vice president of marketing/communications on our six-person staff to be located at our Neptune, N.J. location.
