The American Academy of Ophthalmology is the world’s largest association of eye physicians and surgeons. We are searching for a Manager, OPHTHPAC and Congressional Affairs.  In collaboration with the Director of Congressional Affairs, develops and implements fundraising strategies to impact federal legislation and advance the strategic goals of the Academy’s legislative agenda.  Lobbies Members of Congress and their staff to advance priorities of the Academy and the practice of ophthalmology. You must have knowledge of the legislative process, Capitol Hill and grassroots advocacy, including compliance issues and grassroots strategies.
