The Government, DEI & Public Affairs Director is responsible for the Association’s policies and objectives involving local, state, and federal legislative affairs. They also oversee the Association’s Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DEI) efforts, as well as media relations. Responsibilities Works collaboratively with HCAR members and elected officials to influence local, state, and national legislative issues that affect the real estate market in Howard County. Spearheads political communication activity and manages the day-to-day implementation of advocacy strategies and activities for the association.
