The Exhibitions and Sponsorship Sales Manager is responsible for the overall management and responsibility for selling exhibitions and/or sponsorship for RIMS events.
This position is 100% remote and requires approximately 30% of travel to various meetings, events, and conferences.

Job Responsibilities Include:
Manage online booth management utility for effective communication with exhibitors as well as providing an easy connection between exhibitors and attendees.
Collaborate with marketing to develop pre/post-exhibitor resource material to promote their presence in the show.
Serve as staff liaison to the Exhibits Advisory Committee in planning activities, including drafting agendas, preparing minutes, resolutions, and reports, and carrying out the initiatives of the committee.
Work collaboratively with the Vice President, Events and Exhibitions, and Director of Sales to develop and implement marketing plans to increase exhibition hall traffic and increase exhibitor ROI.
Research and suggest improved attendee and exhibitor experiences to ensure that RISKWORLD’s brand remains strong, viable, and well-positioned for the future.
Research, strategize and implement new ways of increasing exhibitor ROI.
Independent decision-making regarding value adds and package costs to drive revenue and foster strategic sales relationships.
In conjunction with the Director of Sales, manage exhibit and sponsorship program operations for all live meetings, including selling exhibit booths and sponsorships, developing accurate budget projections, tracking, analyzing, and reporting on exhibit and sponsorship sales, and developing marketing collateral in conjunction with the marketing and creative teams.
Grow exhibit and sponsorship program participation; develop prospects, engage in market research, and work with internal and external stakeholders to develop new and innovative sponsorship opportunities and industry partnerships.
Serve as logistics staff liaison to exhibitors onsite at RISKWORLD.
Compensation: Salary Range $65,000 - $80,000 cwe and location

Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.

College degree; Certified Exhibition Management (CEM) and Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designations preferred.
Minimum of 3 years experience in exhibition management and sales.
Association or non-profit experience desired.
