The Sr. Manager, Membership & Chapter Engagement manages the full lifecycle of membership at COMTO and serves as the lead for 37 chapters across North America. As a COMTO membership ambassador, the Sr. Manager develops and executes recruiting and retention initiatives to showcase membership benefits at all levels. As the lead for chapters, the Sr. Manager will provide high-level support to COMTO chapters with outreach, tools, and best practices in operations. Working with communications, the Sr. Manager will develop strategic campaigns to engage students, transportation professionals, DBE/MBE/WBE/SBE organizations and public agencies. Using a data-driven approach, the Sr. Manager will oversee membership and chapter reporting, compliance, and data analysis to support the attainment of stated goals. To ensure an optimal experience for members and chapter leaders, the Sr. Manager will support the development and execution of virtual, and in-person programs.

Founded in 1971, the Conference of Minority Transportation Officials (COMTO) was created to provide a forum for minority professionals in the transportation industry. Our mission is to ensure opportunities and maximum participation in the industry for minority individuals, businesses, and communities of color, through advocacy, training, and professional development. With 37 chapters across North America, COMTO’s membership includes nearly 4,000 individuals, groups, transportation agencies, private sector corporations, non-profit organizations, and Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUBs), representing professionals at all levels within all modes of transportation.
