Come join the Association for the Advancement of Blood & Biotherapies (AABB), the global leader in standards development, accreditation, and implementation of quality systems in transfusion medicine and cellular therapies. They are seeking a remote Managing Editor to support the planning and production of AABB News, the Association’s monthly print and electronic news magazine distributed to approximately 6,000 individuals.
This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the biotherapies field through your research and writing, while adding value to AABB’s membership!

As the Managing Editor, you will develop and manage the editorial content, planning, and production of AABB News. This position also provides writing and editing support for the Association.
This is a full-time opportunity, with a remote option for applicants in the following states: AZ, CO, DC, FL, IL, KY, LA, MD, MN, MO, NC, NJ, NY, PA, RI, TN, VA, WA, WI, WV.
Qualified candidates offer:
Bachelor’s degree preferred (in English, Communications, or Journalism); an equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted in lieu of degree requirements
Minimum of five years of experience in writing, editing, and reporting with excellent writing skills
Experience with various aspects of managing a magazine and newsletter production
Ability to meet tight deadlines
Background in health/medical writing and editing
