NAEA is a national association whose members are enrolled agents (EAs) and tax preparers based mostly in the U.S. but also in various locations around the globe. Enrolled agents are specially credentialed by the Department of Treasury to do representation work on behalf of U.S. taxpayers. Many are former IRS agents, and members work for the large tax preparation companies, but they also are entrepreneurs that own their own practices or work in larger tax practices.  The complex tax landscape and a national initiative to regulate unenrolled tax preparers will continue to drive the need for enrolled agents. Creating and delivering a deluxe suite of member services will be critical to serve current members and those who will be entering the profession. This year NAEA celebrat
