Immediate, full-time opening. Association Management division within a marketing company in Carrollton, TX is now seeking applications for a high energy, detail-oriented individual to join our growing membership team as an Association Manager.
This individual is the first point of contact for members, organizes all support services required by the association and day-to-day activities of the association. This position will travel for occasional meetings as needed. This position reports to the Sr. Director, Association Management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide exemplary customer service to assure high levels of member and stakeholder satisfaction and maintain consistency of service
Increase membership through the development, execution, and evaluation of recruitment and retention campaigns
Manage, evaluate, and update onboarding and renewal membership cycles as needed
Call members, manage system generated emails, apply payments, and provide member receipts
Develop, monitor and report on metrics for assessing effectiveness of membership recruitment, engagement, and retention programs and activities
Participate in and manage ongoing member stewardship activities with current and prospective members though all communications channels including client social media pages and Online Member Community
Seek opportunities to engage current chapters and recruit new chapters, develop and implement chapter leadership training, and maintain chapter records
Serve as the owner of our membership database system, its functionality, and integrity
Work with committee volunteers to attain strategic goals; prepare meeting agendas, minutes and other meeting documents as required; prepare visual aids and hand-outs as required
Develop content and pull membership lists for membership campaigns, newsletters, flyers, advertisements for distribution to members and the public
Support the planning of various types of meetings and tradeshows coordinating logistics and providing onsite meeting management.
Assist in reviewing the website periodically to identify areas needing refreshed content

QUALIFICATIONS
Advanced level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
Experience in YourMembership membership database preferred
Knowledgeable in basic website updates a plus
Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in an Association, non-profit or Association Management Company experience required
