A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT COORDINATOR

In this position, you play a crucial role in successfully executing NASDA’s cooperative agreements with USDA-FAS, USDA-NASS and the FDA. You prepare well written reports, accurately reconcile financial transactions and adeptly assist in planning logistics of trade shows, ad promotions and other external functions. This position provides great exposure to the entire organization.

You follow procedures and processes to ensure contract compliance, meeting with team members to discuss activities associated with the cooperative agreement and highlight compliance needs. You end the day having met deadlines and organize next steps for the cooperative agreement reporting needs. The job allows for occasional travel, and you’ll enjoy the flexibility and energetic nature of it!

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT COORDINATOR

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration or a related field is required.
• Proficiency with accounting software, spreadsheets, and data management systems. Business Central experience preferred.
• Proficiency with financial analysis software and tools
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite, especially Excel
• Awareness of Uniform Grand Guidance (UGG)
• Proven track record working in finances (payments/invoices, financial reporting, budget management, payroll administration).
• Understanding of agriculture, public policy, and NASDA (preferred)
• Experience working in nonprofit finances (preferred)

WORK SCHEDULE

This full-time exempt position works at NASDA headquarters in Arlington and on a flexible schedule. There are opportunities to work from home on a weekly basis.
