The AFA Affinity Relationships Manager is responsible for identifying, establishing, developing and driving successful, productive relationships and revenue growth with our affinity relationship partners, including corporate members, agents, brokers, and other sources of business. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Identifying and researching new types of affinity partnerships. Also bringing aboard new AFA affinity relationships and more importantly maintaining existing relationships. Tracking affinity partner financial performance and pro-actively adjusting strategies and tactics to leverage opportunities, revenue generation, and the alignment of the AFA brand. Execute activities and projects relative to business development, campaign management, and brand building for AFA and its membership.

Maintaining Overall Partner Relations (approximately 50% of effort):
Experience contributing to a high-performing fine association marketing/sales team in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.

Administrative Support and Database Administration (approximately 40% of effort):
Maintain development files for key stakeholders
Set parameters and run weekly, monthly, annual, and on-demand reports.
Enter development transactions and maintain up-to-date contact information.
Ensure development data integrity and accuracy of reports.
Providing support for developing marketing content as needed

REQUIRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, marketing, or related field or equivalent work experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
Minimum 3–5 years of successful relationship/account management/sales experience in the membership organizations.
Salesforce or other CRM administration experience or ability to build competency quickly.
Ability to manage data entry efficiently and accurately.
Ability to effectively utilize interpersonal skills and reliable information when working with internal customers, team members, and external stakeholders to accomplish project goals.
Strong customer service orientation and skills.
Strong organizational skills and ability to consistently attend to details and meet deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
