Currently NAPNAP is seeking a Membership Associate who will be responsible for supporting its Member Services Department and membership base and conduct general customer support activities. The ideal candidate will support NAPNAP’s membership function through database administration, support activities and other job-related administrative projects as assigned. NAPNAP’s membership encompasses 8,000+ members and 53 state and local chapters.
Responsibilities include:
Member Support
Serves as primary contact for member service-related inquiries. Provided accurate and timely communication with current and prospective members.
Provides detailed explanation of NAPNAP’s services and member benefits.
Initiates automated new member welcome and renewal calls explaining benefits of membership.
Supports the Manager of Member and Chapter Service in all aspects of Chapter relations and outreach. This includes but is not limited to:
Recruitment, retention, marketing, communications, orientation, and all activities that seek to support and engage local members
Chapter Leaders training
Individual chapter website content support
Management of volunteer network
Database Support
Responsible for ensuring profile data and contact information are kept current.
Supports system upgrades and tests new functionalities in collaboration with the Association Management System provider.
Data Analysis and Reporting
Responsible for running monthly and auto-renewal billing. Sends invoices , identifies and corrects invoice errors.
Assists with group membership activities and creating contracts. Validates roster reports received from participating hospitals to ensure accurate member profile data.
Assists with running reports as requested from Member Services and other depts.

Minimum requirements for the position:
1-3 years related experience working in a customer service role/database for a non-profit.
Experience with reporting systems; Business Objects preferred.
Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to multi task and prioritize actions.
