In this position you will lead PICPA's development of programs and services to enhance value for corporate finance members, as well as implement PICPA’s business development strategy and sponsorship programs.
This position is responsible for defining, designing, and developing new programs for corporate finance members, as well as creation of content for all members, including the Pennsylvania CPA Journal, CPA Now blog, and CPA Conversations podcast. Responsible for implementing PICPA’s business development strategy, including affinity, advertising, sponsorship, and partnership programs. This position will manage one direct report and work closely across teams to deliver exceptional value to PICPA members and partners.
The successful candidate will have a strong professional presence, an innovation mindset, association and relationship management experience, superb communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to influence without direct authority. The candidate will develop and cultivate relationships with PICPA members and business partners to create valuable experiences.
5+ years relevant experience
Association management experience
Exceptional communication and relationship management skills
Strong analytical skills, especially using financial and quantitative data to inform strategy
Visionary thinker, able to shape strategy and develop business opportunities
Knowledge and proficiency in current Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office products
Engaging self-starter eager to learn about current trends and topics in the accounting industry
CAE, or other association credential
Knowledge of CPA profession, especially the corporate finance function
Advanced knowledge of Aptify and data analytics tools such as Power BI or Tableau
Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
