The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, the world’s largest organization of food and nutrition professionals, is seeking a Manager, Learning Innovations. This full-time, work-from-home flexible position is responsible for the development and execution of the Academy’s digital content, which supports continuous lifelong learning principles across the Academy. eLearning opportunities are based on emerging trends, evidenced-based practice and innovative adult learning principles that support the Academy’s Mission, Vision, Philosophy and Strategic Goals.
Manage the development, implementation, expansion and marketing of all eLearning programming offered by the Center for Lifelong Learning.
Integrate Academy/CDR Needs Assessment Data, Center program data and member qualitative data to determine priority topics and areas of importance to members, non-members and stakeholders.
Act as an administrator of the Academy’s learning technologies, including the Learning Management System, WebEx, closed captioning software, web conferencing platforms and eLearning authoring technologies (e.g. Articulate 360).
Support instructional designers in the development of curriculum content.
Partner with external stakeholders in the preparation of supporting information to obtain grants that will aid in the development of programming.
Provide critical assessment of evidenced based practice and ensure compliance with the Commission on Dietetic Registration Continuing Professional Education (CPE) requirements.
Oversee the FNCE® abstract (poster) submission and selection process, which includes set up of the abstract submission system, managing the peer review process, and onsite conference management.
Collaborate with various internal teams to ensure a seamless education experience for internal and external stakeholders and support their project development and implementation needs.
Master’s Degree in a related field, e.g. Nutrition and Dietetics, Education, or Instructional Design.
RD/RDN Credential Required
5-7 years of related work experience.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Products and experienced working with online educational platforms. Learning Management System experience highly preferred.
Excellent customer service, communication and organization skills are required.
Independent self-starter possessing excellent problem solving and project management skills, along with demonstrated judgment, reasoning, and the ability to collaborate.
Travel is required for periodic meetings such as the Food & Nutrition Conference & Expo™ and any other necessary events.
