We are the National Foundation for Infectious Diseases (NFID), located in Bethesda, MD, and due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are currently operating remotely but expect to return to the office later this year. Since 1973, we have been dedicated to healthier lives through effective prevention and treatment of infectious diseases across the lifespan. We are searching for a detail-oriented Coordinator, Education Programs to support activities within our Professional Education department including conferences, courses, and webinars. Reporting to the Associate Director, Professional Education, and working with the NFID staff to ensure all continuing education activities are successfully produced and promoted, the core responsibilities for this position include:
Speaker and logistical management for all professional education activities (virtual and in-person)
Supporting Continuing Professional Education and activity planning committees
Ensuring compliance with NFID policies and processes to maintain ACCME accreditation
We are interested in hearing from you about this rewarding opportunity if you have the following skills and experience:
Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
Minimum of two years of administrative/coordinator experience in a healthcare/public health related environment or a non-profit environment
Excellent organizational, oral/written communication skills, and customer service skills, with an eye for detail
Strong project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
Knowledge of ACCME, ANCC, and ACPE guidelines a plus
