Energetic and collaborative candidate with experience in email and digital marketing sought for a hands-on marketing position. This individual will team with the Director of Marketing in developing and implementing marketing plans and campaigns for the association across 3 programmatic areas: membership, events, and media products.

Prime duties involve email marketing, including content development, scheduling, and KPI metrics and analytics (open rate, CTR, conversions, etc.). Individual will be tasked with monitoring email report trends as well as Google analytics and recommending/implementing adjustments to campaigns and site architecture and content currently using a Drupal CMS (potential new CMS is pending). Other duties will include:

• Producing/editing additional marketing collateral or content (including video);
• Developing strategies and content for earned media pitching and collaboration;
• Building registration systems for credentialed press working within the defense, intelligence, and national and homeland security arenas.

Marketing support for new product lines, such as sponsored content thought leadership webinars, will include the creation of landing pages, calendar listings, and other marketing efforts.

Excellent interpersonal skills with strong knowledge of marketing principles required, and previous association and military/government-related marketing experiences and skills are a plus as is facility with Google Analytics and marketing automation platforms like Informz.

The successful candidate will be able to identify and determine problems, analyze information and recommend solutions. The individual must be able to work both independently and in a team environment and be creative, detail-oriented and organized.

Candidate must have a degree in marketing, communications or related field and have five years of marketing experience, with at least three years of digital and content marketing experience.
