Washington, DC based association management firm seeks association professional to serve as Compliance Manager for a client providing daily oversight and management. This role provides an opportunity to experience and lead complicated compliance efforts for a top client.
Reporting to the Vice President of Compliance, the Compliance Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting the Compliance team in acquiring and implementing necessary compliance information through constant member contact and data gathering.
The Compliance Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of changes that occur in the compliance database, general QA/QC measures, reporting, and tracking regulatory deadlines and member communications.

Responsibilities
The main responsibility of this role is to work in tandem with the Compliance Director, Compliance Associate, and the Vice President of Compliance to complete key elements of the strategic mission of the client including:
Data management in Salesforce
Member communication and follow up
Data gathering, review, and analysis
Generating reports
Executing a complex QA/QC process
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
A minimum of five to seven years’ experience in the membership or compliance space
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written); including ability to present and speak in public
Advanced excel skills, must be confident with a wide variety of functions/formulas for data analysis and transformation
Exceptional data analysis and analytical skills
Experience managing and implementing all aspects of a broad-spectrum project
Extremely organized with strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Experience in Salesforce
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and able to manage multiple projects
Exceptional problem-solving capabilities and resourceful under pressure
Ability to work both in a team environment and independently
Outstanding customer service and ability to work with members in person, on the phone and electronically
Travel
This position will require 5-10% domestic travel throughout the year.

This is a largely sedentary position that requires the ability to speak, hear, see and lift small objects up to 20 lbs.
