Energy Solutions Center is a DC-based energy trade association that seeks resourceful and flexible individual with 3-5 years experience to undertake comprehensive planning for 3 annual conferences, and to undertake a variety of marketing and social media duties as described below. Need individual with a team approach and experience working for non-profits with limited resources.
Conference Planning: Responsible for planning and implementation of all steps related to 3 annual conferences whether virtual or in-person. Identify potential meeting sites and hotels. Prepare RFPs, evaluate proposals, and negotiate with site. Plan meals and receptions. Draft and maintain ever-changing conference agenda; Manage on-line conference reservation system. Coordinate with other ESC staff regarding room requirements, speaker logistics. Aid in the conception of virtual events. Research and execute innovative ways to bring members value online.
Marketing: Develop new brand strategy; Create and execute email marketing campaigns for events, webinars and other programs. Manage and execute social media strategy. Lead re-development of ESC website and ESC digital content. Maintain membership database and manage all membership collateral.
3-5 years relevant experience;
Success working as both a team member, and working independently.
Familiarity with membership database management.
Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation preferred.
