We are the National Foundation of Infectious Diseases (NFID), located in Bethesda, MD. Since 1973, we have been dedicated to healthier lives through effective prevention and treatment of infectious diseases across the lifespan. Our small but mighty team works collaboratively to accomplish our mission.
We are searching for an Education Programs Coordinator to support the critical activities within our Professional Education department. Reporting to the Associate Director, Professional Education, and working with the NFID staff to ensure all continuing education activities are successfully produced and promoted, the responsibilities for this position include:
Speaker and logistical management for all professional education activities (live and online)
Supporting Continuing Professional Education and activity planning committees
Ensure compliance with NFID policies and processes to maintain ACCME accreditation
We are interested in hearing from you about this rewarding opportunity if you have the following skills and experience:
Minimum of two years of administrative experience in a healthcare/public health related environment or a non-profit environment
Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills with an eye for detail
Strong project coordination skills with ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
Knowledge of ACCME, ANCC, and ACPE guidelines a plus
Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred
